Before Capital Business Solutions, Lloyd was with Sumex Business Financing concentrating on leasing, divestitures, and commercial mortgages.

Lloyd was CFO of a private oil and gas drilling company that built and commissioned 12 drilling rigs. Lloyd was previously Vice-President with HSBC Bank Canada. His accomplishments there include building a commercial business unit into one of the top performing offices in Canada and leading the country in equipment leasing growth for a number of years. Before joining HSBC, Lloyd had senior positions with two other Canadian Chartered Banks.

Lloyd's community involvement includes eight years as a Trustee with the Alberta Cancer Foundation. During his tenure he focused on fundraising and successfully raised over $5 million in donations. He is also a past director for Junior Achievement.
