Previous to forming Capital Business Solutions Blair was with Sumex Business Financing where he led the investment banking practice. He has over thirty years of experience in growing, divesting and acquiring businesses as well as operational and executive business management. Blair has also been very successful at providing business advisory services and has developed a large client base of both business sellers and acquirers.

Originally from Saskatchewan, Blair rose to become CEO and President of Hunters Group of Companies, a privately held company established in retail, wholesale, manufacturing & assembly, commercial subdivision development and other real estate holdings. He has been President of two stand alone subsidiaries of different public companies, one involved in the manufacture and sale of consumer products and the other in the manufacture and sale of industrial products.

Blair was a partner in a valuation & business sale advisory firm and was the Regional Manager of a mergers and acquisitions investment banking firm, specializing in mid-market businesses. Blair was also the founder of REDEX Financial, a $200 million merchant banking fund that maintained a significant inventory financing portfolio, among an array of other investments.
